At the suggestion of a friend, I am creating this blog to post my translations of news from Israel, written by top opinion makers who are not necessarily politicians. With so much going on there, it's unfortunate that people in the English-speaking world don't get to see the (vociferous) debate taking place in Israel over major topics such as the settlements, democracy, and whatnot. Hopefully, this blog will offer something of a glimpse into that world.
